Catherine Britt

Catherine Britt (born 31 December 1984; Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia) is a country music artist who has had success in both her native Australia and in the United States. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee, United States in 2004, and has charted several singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts in the U.S., in addition to releasing four studio albums in her native Australia. Her highest charting single, "The Upside of Being Down", peaked at #36 on the country music charts in 2004.


2009 has indeed been a busy year for Catherine Britt. After taking home the coveted CMAA Female Artist of The Year Award in January she slipped quietly into the recording studio with Shane Nicholson and Bill Chambers to record her yet untitled forth album which will be released in 2010.
