Those Gals

Those Gals are made up of Kerry Walsh, Carolyne Morris and Wendy Wood and all are based Tamworth NSW.

Kerry whose musical family goes back three generations, has been playing for a number of years. Rockabilly is a favourite of Kerry's’ although she has a wide range of music that she likes to sing. She has played with various musicians but found what she had been looking for when she came upon Carolyne and Wendy, Harmony!

Wendy has won awards for her songwriting and currently has a publishing deal with LBS Studio’s in Tamworth. She has recorded songs on compilation albums and has had airplay in Europe. Wendy has been nominated for her songs up there with Troy Cassar-Daley, John Williamson and Michael King. "I am So Over You" written by Wendy and on our debut album was placed in the finals at the Queensland Songwriters Awards.

Carolyne has the high range and sings the old fifties songs beautifully from Patsy Cline to the Platters. Carolyne is also a fine songwriter and you will find her at The Pub along with Wendy at the monthly Songwriters’ Night. "Second Hand Emotion" written by Carolyne and on the album was also placed in the finals of the Queensland Songwriters’ Awards.
